SOP Generator
I built this generator to get you past the blank page. Tell it the process, who does it and the tools involved, and it drafts a first version of the SOP for you to edit.
The generator is unavailable right now. The templates still work.
Your draft
This is a first version for you to edit. Read every step and replace the [square brackets] with your own details.
Copy to Google Docs copies the draft and opens a new Google Doc in another tab. Paste it there with Ctrl+V, or Cmd+V on a Mac.
Assign this SOP to your team and track who has read it
The Word export uses the docx library (MIT licence).
How it works, and what stays on your device
The generator drafts a first version for you to edit. Read every step, replace the [square brackets] with your own details and check anything that touches safety, law or regulation against the rules you work under.
When you press Draft my SOP, the text in the form is sent to my server, and my server sends it to Anthropic, the company that runs the Claude model that writes the draft. I keep no copy of your text or the draft. The privacy page has the details.
The draft uses the same layout as the templates, and the Word and Markdown downloads are built in your browser from the text on the page.
Each person gets a few free drafts a day, and the generator has a daily limit on what it can spend. When a limit is reached it works again the next day.
